Synopsis
As COVID-19 cases rise in British Columbia and the government has announced mandatory vaccinations for various discretionary activities and events, how can employers respond to ensure a safe working environment?
- What we know about the science underpinning the COVID-19 vaccine, and how jurisdictions throughout North America, and different industries, are responding.
- The ins and outs of vaccination and testing policies and their application in the workplace.
- Privacy considerations regarding the BC Vaccine Passport and collecting, disclosing information about an employee’s COVID-19 vaccination status.
- What should employers be doing now? What facts should you consider when developing a vaccine policy? What trends are we seeking and what should employers be monitoring?
