Synopsis

Join the CBA BC’s Appellate Advocacy section for a panel-style meeting on style in oral advocacy at the appellate level. Justice Griffin and Justice Horsman will provide a judicial perspective, while advocates Taylor-Marie Young (Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP) and Naomi Moses (JFK Law) will speak from the practitioner standpoint.

Presenters will engage with such topics as how to be an effective oral advocate at the appellate level, the role of personality in appellate advocacy, and how to find and nurture your own style.
