In the past 10 months the right of subrogation for insurance companies has been taken away, a plaintiff's right to the use of expert reports and the recovery for disbursements for expert reports has been drastically reduced and with a retroactive effect, caps have been placed on "minor" injuries,  and the Civil Resolution Tribunal has been given jurisdiction over minor injury claims, deciding what is and is not a minor injury, and determining liability in such claims.

Our Speaker(s) will touch on these various changes, what it means for our clients and steps we might take in the future to protect our clients rights.
