The CBA Environmental, Energy & Resources Summit will examine issues surrounding the successful delivery of resources to markets by way of pipelines, rail, trucking, and other infrastructure and the potential impacts of those projects on the environment. Leading experts from across Canada will provide updates on emerging regulatory developments from all sectors including public and private, First Nations, NGOs, academics, and the judiciary.
Topics will include a review of recent cases concerning major projects, the connection between human rights and sustainable development, negotiating risk across jurisdictions and industries, indigenous partnerships as economic drivers of growth, a contaminated sites primer, and an update on cap and trade legislation and use in Canada.
