Synopsis
If the mother of a four-year-old gender non-binary child asked for your help to stop their daycare assigning them to boys’ or girls’ activities, what would you say?

What if a now-separated parent with joint guardianship wants to prevent their 11-year-old child from being put on hormone blockers?

Or if a university student says their gender assigned at birth should not be recorded on their university records?

Or an M-to-F teenager wants a birth certificate that designates her female?

In this talk, barbara findlay, QC, and Adrienne Smith will outline the social and legal landscape and discuss legal issues and best practices for young transgender clients. There will be time for questions and discussion.
