Synopsis
Please join the Young Lawyers - Victoria Section for a "Wills 101" talk by Deanna Rivers of Stevenson, Luchies and Legh.  Deanna will provide us with practical tips answering everyday questions in relation to your Wills practice.  This talk is aimed at junior lawyers but all levels of call are welcome to come for a refresher.  Space is limited to 20 attendees so register early.

Registration fee covers the speaker's meal and room rental.  Lunch is pay-as-you-go.

Speaker Profile
Deanna Rivers attended law school at the University of Victoria, and graduated with an LL.B. in 1995. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in February 1996, after articling with the law firm of Anniko Hunter. She practiced with Anniko Hunter until 2001. Joining Stevenson Luchies & Legh in 2003, Ms. Rivers practices primarily in litigation preparation, estate planning, estates and conveyancing. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria Law School, teaching Succession and Estate Planning.

She is a past Section Chair of the Victoria Young Lawyers and Victoria Wills and Trusts sections of the Canadian Bar Association
