**Achieving Racial Justice (Recording)**

The Equality Subcommittee is proud to host a three-hour live interactive online event on racial justice. Participants will hear from experts in a live webinar in two parts. Learn about the barriers that racial minorities in the legal profession face and how to dismantle them. It will also offer a virtual opportunity for members across the country to connect and engage with each other.

12:00 pm - 1:15 pm	Anti-Racism Education for Legal Professionals - Interactive Workshop This workshop aims to provide participants with a toolkit to identify and intervene in systemic racism within legal institutions and society more broadly. Moving beyond a diversity and inclusion lens, the session will encourage adoption of an anti-racist framework through discussion of key concepts and case study analysis, unpacking multiple layers of discrimination. This webinar portion will be recorded and made available to all CBA members.

1:30 pm - 2:15 pm	Achieving Racial Justice in the Legal Profession in Canada : How do we get there? - Panel Discussion The second session will be a panel discussion with legal leaders speaking about how systemic racism in the legal profession can be dismantled. We will hear from leaders from different segments of the profession.

2:15 pm - 2:45 pm	Breakout Session - Interactive Discussion Participants in this live session will have a chance to interact and reflect on what they have learned in small group breakout room discussions. These breakout sessions will not be recorded.
2:45 pm - 3:00 pm	Debrief - Interactive Discussion Participants will return to the main Zoom to debrief together the strategies and solutions discussed in the breakout sessions. This webinar portion will be recorded and made available to all CBA members.
