Assisted Decision-Making in Canada: National Perspectives

Assisted decisionmaking is evolving rapidly across Canada, shaped by legislative reform, humanrightsbased frameworks, and the lived experience of older adults and persons with disabilities. This bilingual webinar brings together lawyers from several provinces to explore current models, challenges, and best practices in supported and assisted decisionmaking. Participants will gain a crosscountry understanding of legal trends, practical approaches, and emerging issues affecting capacity, autonomy, and the rights of vulnerable adults.
