Professional coaching has grown exponentially and with it the emergence of speciality areas. Conflict management coaching, also known as conflict coaching, is a particular niche that is being embraced by the ADR field as another tool to help people understand and resolve conflict.
Coaching can be used by lawyers, mediators and dispute management and resolution professionals in their work with clients. Coaching can be a one on one process or used as part of mediation process in which clients and parties can develop and strengthen their knowledge, skills and abilities to engage in conflict more effectively.
Coaching skills can help mediators and other dispute resolution professionals develop a deeper understanding of the stories that are driving people's interpretations and behaviours in conflict, elicit more of the real story and clarity about the values at stake, and achieve better and more lasting outcomes. This panel of experienced lawyers, mediators and coaches will share their knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies for conflict resolution and discuss real life examples of how coaching can be used by mediators and lawyers in one on one and group coaching sessions, mediations and other dispute resolution processes to achieve more successful results .
