Whether you're dealing with the immigration or refugee categories, this OBA Session is a must for all practitioners. The H&C category is a unique and effective tool for your clients. It straddles both the immigration and refugee systems, as well as inland and overseas processing.
From overcoming admissibility issues, to gaining Permanent Residence in Canada, to strengthening your client's Stay Motion merits, the H&C category has proven itself to be one of the most widely-used and broadly-interpreted sections of the Act.
Significant changes have already been made to the H&C category, and more are on the way. This session will be practical and highly focused, designed to give you the hands-on knowledge, information and experience which can only serve to better your practice.
