The Social Justice Tribunals Ontario (SJTO) and the Environmental and Land Tribunals Ontario (ELTO) are two clusters of adjudicative tribunals created pursuant to the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act 2009 and its regulations.
The SJTO cluster brings together the following administrative boards and tribunals: Child and Family Services Board; Custody Review Board; Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario; Landlord and Tenant Board; Ontario Special Education Tribunals (French and English); and the Social Benefits Tribunal.
The ELTO cluster also brings together the following administrative boards and tribunals: Assessment Review Board; Board of Negotiation (Land Expropriations); Conservation Review Board; Environmental Review Tribunal; and the Ontario Municipal Board.
