Jim Randall, a manager in GAAR and Technical Support Section of the CRA’s International and Large Business Directorate, will present current issues and CRA initiatives in relation to the GAAR. Sharon Gulliver, a senior tax advisor with PwC’s Tax Controversy and Dispute Resolution group, will discuss current trends in CRA audits. Pooja Samtani, a member of Osler’s tax litigation group, will discuss recent cases of interest, with a focus on tax avoidance and the GAAR.
