This program is part of the CCCA In-House Counsel ESG Series. As a result of globalization and the outsourcing of labour, businesses are increasingly expected to manage risks and provide transparency into their supplier’s activities. In-house counsel play a critical role in furthering an organization’s ESG goals. The CCCA is pleased to partner with Lerners LLP to share practice tips in developing and negotiating ESG-focused clauses in supplier contracts aimed at protecting an organization from specific risks (e.g. labour rights, human rights, corruption practices).
